    Recommended dosage:
The form release baclofen 10 mg is the most convenient for the initial treatment. Tablets of 25 mg are prescribed to patients who need the usage of higher doses. The final dose is established strictly individually that the reduction of muscle tone did not result in abnormal muscle fatigue syndrome and did not impair motor function. Hypersensitivity initial daily dose should be 5-10 mg, with a consequent slower increase. Continuance of treatment depends on the clinical condition and characteristics of the organism. In any case, the maximum daily dose should not exceed 100 mg. This concentration is assigned only by personal physician and under his regular supervision.

The drug dose should be raise with care because of increase of risk of side effects to people older than 65 years.

The dose is decreased to 5 mg per day for patients with impaired renal function, as well as people in hemodialysis.

Initial single dose for children is 5 mg is half a tablet baclofen 10 mg, the treatment of children must begin with the dose twice a day and only after an absence of side effects to move to three times usage per day.     Side effects and limitations:

Most often side effects from the use of baclofen 10 mg are emerged after a sudden rise in the dose or in elderly patients. In most cases, after reducing the dose of the drug, they weaken and pass. In case of serious side effects, treatment must stop. During treatment may increase mental syndromes, schizophrenia, convulsions, and the emergence of the state of disorientation in time and space. The central nervous system and peripheral nervous system: drowsiness, giddiness, gait disturbance, fatigue, confusion, apathy, euphoria, depression, tremors, hallucinations, depression of a convulsive threshold.
